  PTA News

This year’s Purim carnival was a great success. Our thanks to everyone who gave their time, effort and a bit of elbow grease! The saying goes that it takes a village and that is certainly true of our Mishkan Tefi la family.  When we come together for an event such as the carnival, our community truly shines brightly. It was great having Rabbi Geoff
lending a hand at Café Mish; selling the savory selections. He assured everyone that the food was delicious after being named our offi cial taster! Thanks to our religious school parents for participating in our second annual basket raffl e. Nancy Gould did a terrific job wrapping up the baskets and making them look so beautiful. We also want to give a special thank you to Mrs. Yanofsky’s Vav class. They came down early to help run the booths for our Nursery School children. This was an enormous help to us. PTA sponsored a Model Seder for our Gan children on April 13th followed by a larger Seder for grades Aleph through Vav on Tuesday, April 15th. The children really enjoy these sederarim and sharing time with their friends.

On Sunday, May 18th we wind down the year with a day of sports and games to celebrate Lag B’Omer. And before we know it, it will be the closing day of Religious School, Sunday, June 8th and we will gather together in celebration of another
successful academic year at our annual community-wide barbeque.

Please feel free to join our PTA family at any time. You are most welcome and appreciated. Again, our sincere thanks to all who have lent a helping hand to PTA this year.
