Chesed

Reb Nachman of Bratslav taught that to bring
just a little joy to someone, to be just a little kind,
is a very big thing to do.

Our Chesed Committee helps us to learn how to do just that.  We may know of a member of our community needing support, but it is often so hard to know how to best reach out.  Through our Chesed Committee, we learn with our rabbis and leaders in our community, deepen our understanding of caring for others, and have the opportunity to put out learning into action by reaching out to members our community to share a visit, meals, joy, or a little kindness.

You can help by preparing meals, running errands, and even just staying in touch with members of our community in need — showing that  you care and are concerned can work wonders.  See what else you can do…
