Please join the Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP) and the Ruderman Synagogue Inclusion Project (RSIP) for a very special gathering as we begin our month-long celebration of Jewish Disabilities Awareness, Acceptance and Inclusion Month (JDAIM) with healing songs, prayers, and reflection that will lift our spirits. This evening will explore the challenges and joys of navigating a Jewish world committed to realizing the dignity and spiritual value of every person and will celebrate the resiliency of the human spirit in the darkest of times.
The event will feature Rabbi Dr. Bradley Shavit Artson, Abner & Roslyn Goldstine Dean’s Chair of the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies, his son, Jacob Artson, and his wife, Elana Shavit Artson; and internationally renowned singer and songwriter, Neshama Carlebach, and Rabbi Menachem Creditor, Scholar-in-Residence at the UJA-Federation of New York.
We will also hear from Rabbi Marc Baker, CJP’s President and CEO, and Sharon Shapiro, Trustee of the Ruderman Family Foundation.
