Please join us for a discussion of our next book read, The Lost Shtetl by Max Gross. May 9, 7:00 PM in the CMT Lounge
This clever, comically engaging yet also serious, novel, invites the reader into the fictitious shtetl of Kresko which has “existed in happy isolation, virtually untouched and unchanged for decades.” It has been perfectly described as “reminiscent of early Isaac Bashevis Singer and a Catskill comedian”
We look forward to meeting our fellow readers on Monday, May 9th at 7pm in the lounge.
The book may be available at The Brookline Booksmith.
