We are excited to inform you that following interviews with several qualified candidates, the Interim Rabbinic Search Committee has chosen to advance two finalists.
Both candidates will be visiting CMT so that members can meet them - either virtually or in person - and experience services led by each rabbi.
This Shabbat, September 8 and 9, we will host Rabbi Steven Kane from Briarcliff Manor, NY to lead both Kabbalat Shabbat and Shabbat morning services. Please scroll down in the link to learn about Rabbi Kane.
On Monday evening September 11, Rabbi David Starr from Brookline will be joining us to lead the Monday evening minyan service, during which he will deliver a D'var Torah. Click below to learn more about Rabbi Starr.
Please join us in person or on Zoom to meet and listen to these two highly respected and experienced Rabbis. More information will follow soon.

Portraits Of Madness: Concert by Mistral Music September 10, 5:00PM, Social Hall
Mistral, a Brookline chamber ensemble now in its 27th year, explores the fascinating intersection of mental illness and creative genius in music. Afflicted with mood disorders, hallucinations, and fears of death, four legendary composers – Schumann, Tchaikovsky, Mahler, and Beethoven – struggled with their mental health, but in the depths of intense emotions, they transformed their pain into timeless works that continue to move and inspire generations.
Presented by Mistral Music with support from Congregation Kehillath Israel.
