*LAST CHANCE* Stand with Israel lawn signs
Over the last few days, so many of us are asking how we can show support to the people of Israel. We are offering a simple way to display your commitment.
Rose Spitzer (daughter of Toni Spitzer), and her roommate, Samantha Reed have worked with a local sign company to print the lawn signs pictured above. The signs are lightweight, and can be used with the included stand or just as a sign for indoor use.
The cost of each sign is $25. All profits collected will be donated, on behalf of Congregation Mishkan Tefila, to an organization to be determined by the Board.
Please click below to order now. Signs may be picked up at CMT or delivered to you within the Brookline, MA area if you are unable to get to CMT on your own.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Family Table food drive over the High Holidays with a special shout out to Tuesday’s Mah-jongg players for their weekly donations of pasta and cereal.
With your help, together we have collected enough pasta and cereal to fulfill our monthly commitment to deliver 25 boxes of cereal and 25 boxes of pasta for the next 3 months!
As the cost of food has increased and the numbers of families in need have grown, your on-going support for Family Table is both meaningful and essential. According to JF&CS, more than 60% of the food Family Table distributes come from the Jewish community.
If you’re coming to our Brookline campus for services or a program, consider bringing along a box of cereal or whole wheat pasta. Donations can be dropped off at the collection box by the Fuller Street entrance or left in our lounge with Toni. If you’d like to make a monetary donation, Mishkan Tefila also has a Family Table fund, which allows us to purchase additional food items that Family Table clients count on each month.
Once again, thank you for your part in helping to alleviate hunger in the Jewish community and beyond.
