Community Support Pledges 2019-2020
Thanks to you and your on-going support, Congregation Mishkan Tefila is thriving! With your help, our community transitioned into our beautiful new sacred space, and welcomed thousands of people from the greater Boston community to our new home and innovative programs. Our shared vision of creating an exciting new model of American Judaism by being an innovator in the 384 Campus and bringing joyful, inclusive Judaism to the community is now a reality.
Along with the leadership, programming, and support you expect, appreciate, and count on, as Congregation Mishkan Tefila continues to expand our community your generous community support pledge will also make it possible for us to enhance and enrich our offerings. Every contribution, no matter the size, is deeply meaningful and helps make it possible for Congregation Mishkan Tefila to be a full-service congregation and open year-round.
Looking forward to welcoming everyone back for the first Festive Friday of the season. Click anywhere on the flyer below to register. CMT community members can bring friends at member rates AND can purchase any six dinners for the price of five. Contact Debbie for more information at debbie@mishkantefila.org or 617-332-7770 ext 212

USCJ Convention: 20/20 Judaism
A collaborative convention of USCJ and the Rabbinical Assembly
On the eve of the next decade, it is more critical than ever for USCJ, the RA and our community to come together to address the ways that our movement approaches Israel, the Jewish family, spirituality, inclusion and other topics that will shape the future of Conservative Judaism. Join the USCJ for an inspiring Shabbaton (Friday-Sunday), a thought-provoking conference (Sunday - Tuesday) or both.
Location: Westin Boston Waterfront 425 Summer St, Boston, MA 02210
Congregation Mishkan Tefila has been chosen to be one of the new Congregation Partners in the Ruderman Inclusion Project and will recieve a grant to support future inclusion initiatives. The Ruderman Synagogue Inclusion Project (RSIP) is a partnership between CJP and the Ruderman Family Foundation that supports synagogues in creating communities where people of all abilities are valued equally and participate fully. We offer access to local and national inclusion experts, consultations to develop innovative synagogue inclusion strategies, and opportunities for congregational communities to teach, network, and share best practices. Rabbi Plumb writes, "As a Mussar-based community, Congregation Mishkan Tefila practices the trait of B'Tzelem Elohim, the belief that every person is a precious child of God. Every person matters, and should be seen, heard, and know that they are valued. We are proud to partner with the Ruderman Synagogue Inclusion Project to further embed this value within our congregation. The Project supports us in seeing the holiness and gifts in everyone." Please stay tuned for updates on the project!
