Community Support Pledges 2019-2020
Thanks to you and your on-going support, Congregation Mishkan Tefila is thriving! With your help, our community transitioned into our beautiful new sacred space, and welcomed thousands of people from the greater Boston community to our new home and innovative programs. Our shared vision of creating an exciting new model of American Judaism by being an innovator in the 384 Campus and bringing joyful, inclusive Judaism to the community is now a reality.
Along with the leadership, programming, and support you expect, appreciate, and count on, as Congregation Mishkan Tefila continues to expand our community your generous community support pledge will also make it possible for us to enhance and enrich our offerings. Every contribution, no matter the size, is deeply meaningful and helps make it possible for Congregation Mishkan Tefila to be a full-service congregation and open year-round.

Weekly D'var
A Teaching
I am delighted to be back from our holiday. We spent a great deal of time with Michael’s mother in Birmingham, UK, saw wonderful shows, exhibits and friends, and enjoyed many art tours in Siena and Florence, led by Anya. Many friends in London knew my parents well, so it was meaningful to share memories, and mourn, with them and our family in the UK.
I am sorry to have had to say goodbye to Zach and am grateful that he will be with us for the lead up to High Holy Days, and through the hagim. I wish him and his family well in Florida.
I want to thank our tri-presidents for all their hard work during this time of transition. If you called the office over the last two weeks, you got a cheery response from Caryl or Lynda. Yael and Debbie have also been brilliant in keeping the office going and maintaining our High Holy Day preparations.
I am excited to see you all on September 6 at our welcome back Festive Friday, led by Ellen Allard and our wonderful CMT House Band. Our High Holy Day services will be lively, joyful and full of beautiful music.
I wish you a lovely Labour Day weekend, as we honour all who contribute to building our economic wellbeing, labour for healthy work environments, and a strong equitable society.
Shabbat Shalom, Rabbi Marcia Plumb
