Welcome to our Elul Thought for the Day. To prepare our souls for the High Holy Days, we read Psalm 27 and blow the shofar every day of the month of Elul. Every weekday, in these emails, we will send you a verse from Psalm 27, a shofar blast (or something resembling a wake-up call), and a song from our High Holy Day playlist.
Women rabbis from around the world (including Rabbi Plumb) collaborated this year to create a brief teaching for each day of Elul. We will send you one of these short videos in each Elul email. Watch and see which one is from our rabbi!
May the shofar, music, psalm and teachings wake us up to who we can be in the year ahead.
One thing I ask of the Eternal, only that do I seek: to live in the house of the Eternal all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Divine, to love living in Your holy world, under Your holy skies, every day of my life.
