Special Soul Witness Project Event, January 27 International Holocaust Remembrance Day
On Wednesday, January 27, The Soul Witness Project will present two pre-recorded panel discussions to commemorate International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
Paris Alston Producer of NPR’s Radio Boston moderates “Why is Holocaust Remembrance Relevant Now?” featuring local residents whose parents are featured in “Soul Witness”; as well as Peggy Shukur of the Anti-Defamation League.
Lauren Bairnsfather of the Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh moderates “Antisemitism Today,” featuring Robert Trestan of the Anti-Defamation League, Stephen Naron of Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies, and Marc Baker of Combined Jewish Philanthropies. On January 27, starting at noon, the discussions will be available on Coolidge.org. After January 27, the discussions will be available on Soul Witness YouTube.

“Soul Witness” is a documentary film based on more than 80 hours of Holocaust testimonies conducted 30 years ago by Lawrence Langer, one of the world’s foremost authorities on Holocaust testimonies. The film is directed and produced by R. Harvey Bravman. This documentary will be available until Feb. 1, 2021, for a $1 minimum nonprofit donation to The Soul Witness Project.
